Sketch of the old Elko Station and headquarters for Bluebeetle Creative.
A friend recently told me: “The only thing you can count on in a partnership is that someday it will end”. The more I think about it the more I realize this is true. I am privileged to say that my relationship with my business partner Shane has been as close to perfect as I could have asked for, and yet, last friday marked the end of a day-to-day relationship that spanned 8+ years. Our time as colleagues, then consultants, then business partners has been a great experience, but as way leads to way, it is time to move on. Shane has made some decisions for his family that are tough, but admirable. Bluebeetle Creative will miss his daily input. As a parting gift I sketched this little rendering of the historic Elko Station that is the main office of Bluebeetle Creative. I gave it to him as a daily reminder of his ‘roots’ as he pursues new and interesting projects South of the border. Farewell Shane, talk to you soon and happy trails!
