Alberta Bound

I have been doing quite a bit of driving lately; first to Lethbridge, Alberta to take the kids and visit my family there, and then to Spokane yesterday to pick up Shane (Co-principal at bluebeetle) from the Airport. He was down in Utah for a week doing some programming for one of our clients. Unfortunately, I didn’t get time to sketch any of the cool old buildings in Spokane, but I did note a few for a future dedicated sketching trip. In Lethbridge, I managed to sneak away and sketch this cool house. My mom lives in the older part of Lethbridge and there are cool, well-maintained older houses in every direction. I must have looked a little funny sitting there on the curb on a Sunday morning with my sketchbook, but those are the prices us hardcore urban sketchers are willing to pay. More sketches soon!
